Now Hiring: York BID Operations Manager

The York Business Improvement District (BID) is an exciting and new way to manage the City Centre. Funded by and representing over 1,000 businesses across the retail, leisure, hospitality and professional services sectors, our ambition is to make real improvements for business and continue to strengthen York as a destination to do business in, invest and enjoy.

This post would suit an enthusiastic, confident self-starter with well-developed interpersonal skills and who is flexible in responding to the demands of a new organisation. The role will be varied and you will have to be comfortable with a job where every day can be different. You will primarily be responsible for helping the Executive Director develop, deliver and manage projects in the BID area, along with day to day engagement with businesses. Responsible To: Executive Director York BID
Salary: from £24k to £32K depending on experience
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Entitlements: 25 days holiday plus pension
Contract: Permanent until next BID election term April 2021 (subject to a three month probation period)
